These terms apply to design, supply and installation services provided by Home Design Products Ltd ("we", "us"), 47 Baring Street, South Shields, NE33 2DR.
All quotes are provided free of charge following a design consultation. Quoted prices are fixed for the scope agreed at the time of quoting; additional work outside that scope (for example, unforeseen structural, plumbing or electrical issues found once work begins) will be discussed and agreed with you before proceeding.
A deposit is required to confirm your order, with the balance due as agreed in your individual contract. Specific payment terms will be set out in writing before work begins.
Timelines given during consultation are estimates based on typical project scope; actual timescales depend on the specifics of your project and are confirmed in writing once your order is placed.
Cabinets and fitted furniture are backed by a 10-year guarantee. Guarantee terms and what they cover will be provided in writing with your order confirmation.
If you're a consumer and your order was placed at a distance (e.g. online) or away from our business premises, you may have statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Orders placed following an in-showroom consultation are generally not subject to the same cooling-off period — ask us to confirm your specific rights before ordering.
We carry public liability insurance covering our work. Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the relevant contract, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence).
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
